What we do

We like to look at a house as a living breathing creature.  We take a holistic approach to dealing with your plumbing and heating issues.  There is no point installing a new heating system if you have insufficient insulation in your walls or attic .   We can work with our industry partners for energy efficient appliance and install them for you. From a Health and Safety standpoint we can install back water valves to deal with flooding or air re-circulation systems for that smell in the basement.  Are you having issues with hard water in your hot water tank?  We can look at water softening options...

Our Electrician can look and see if there are energy generation alternatives for you location (solar or Wind, there are grants available)...

Our Carpenter can look at framing and insulating cold spaces to increase energy efficiency. What about a raised floor in the basement for insulation...

If you look at the house as a whole you find alternatives you may have never thought of.

Back water Valve specials

Epcor will pay to protect your house from a sewage flood.  Nobody wants a sewage flooded basement.  There are grants up to $800 to install a back water valve in your home.  This $800 grant will cover most of (if not all of) your cost.

Our full service plumbing company wants to be your "go to guy" for your household needs.  Our company works with other trades to help you solve all of your needs.  One call and we can get the crafts people we need to solve all your problems, not just "handy men".  We only use journeymen trades persons.  We want to be your plumber but we know  Electricians, carpenters, gas fitters...  Any of the trades you need we can help you talk to the guys we use, not just names in the phone book.

Back flow prevention

$75 Introductory special

If you have a Back flow prevention device, you have to have it tested annually. Our Epcor certified Testers (also Red Seal Journeymen Plumbers) can help you and make it a little less economically painful. Why would you pay between $100 -200 (or more) per device tested when we only charge $75 to test a device? If there is an issue with the device, we will discuss your options with you before we begin work to repair or replace the device.

We will take care of everything back flow related from notifying Epcor we are performing the test through testing and tagging the device to show annual certification. Our system will set up an automatic notification 11 months later to inform you the test date has been arraigned. Should your device fail, our fully certified, insured and bonded tester will pull the correct permits to ensure the costs do not keep raising. If you require a device installed where there was not one before our Journeymen Plumbers can take care of that as well.

Give us a call and we will take care of your Back Flow needs

Thermal imaging

We can use thermal imaging devices to see if you are holding in the heat your system is producing ($75 special for the remainder of 2019).

Q & A

 Clogged Drains

Clogged drains can be the result of debris caught in your plumbing or you could be at the mercy of any number of  items stuck in your pipes.  Look under your sink to see if you have a P Trap valve. Place a bucket underneath your sink and unscrew the pipe. See if this was the location of the clog. Other ways that you can unclog a drain include using liquid drain cleaner, a plumbing snake, or a sink auger.

How Long Do Water Heaters Last?

In order to maximize the life span of your water heater, you should always follow proper maintenance scheduling and fix any problems immediately. Drain your water heater at least once a year for best results. A water heater could last you anywhere between 5-13 years depending on usage and maintenance.

Dripping Faucet

Leaky faucets are one of the most common plumbing problems. Similar to troubleshooting methods in number 2, you will want to check your aerator. This is the little thing at the end of your faucet that looks like a mesh wire filter. The aerator helps conserve water and provides improved water pressure. Other reasons your faucet could be dripping could be worn out rubber seals, washers, or O-rings.
